i am a silent, boring child of generation x, but i do something similar.
i start articles, any short piece, in the middle and jump around. i thought this was perfectly normal until i mentioned it to my husband at age, 20 something. how did i make it through my ap lit classes that way? (a little bragging there, did you notice, "ap" ;) now i can't remember what my husband wanted for dinner, at 31. ;)) give me a book to analyze and my synopsis will be based on if i was able to stay awake.
i really enjoy mysteries, so my guess is this reflects that, and i like guessing who was involved and why before i really know the details. or i'm just krazy....
