Well John, few may agree w/ this but I think it's fine to drink (so long as your p-doc okays it, all my drug bottles warn against "interactions" my p-doc says it's fine when I need to). Alcohol soothes and it can anesthetize, that's what it was made for, and I believe, when it is used, as it most often is, in just the fashion you're using it, tonight, you are being responsible. Responsible and shame-free would be best.
By the looks of your 2nd post it didn't do you any harm, looked to me like you were feeling no pain. As if. But it can help us get over the rough spots, so just thought I'd offer my support, if you've a mind for it.
