Thanks for update- had been thinking about you.
As said by others, we cant tell how it will go but wish you well! I believe its meant to be important to make sure you have a proper contract with the parents you are working for, but otherwise it will have a lot to do with how you get on with them. **If** it doesnt go well, dont feel you have to stay there to the bitter end- come back, and stay with friends while you look for somewhere else?
Have you talked with your therapist re the move? There's a strong chance they will suggest you organise some therapy or counselling when you get there, at least for a while (yes it can be v boring!) Can you stay in touch with your friends eg visits/emails...?
Loads of cheers that you are escaping your parents and the pressures of that and college. And working with children will be relevant for the latter.
