Need some feedback!

Hi everybody,

I am going to my brother's in-laws for
Christmas. I have gone there for the last
10 years. The food is wonderful, but my
sister in-law's family can be quite cold,
boring and stoic. I could use some advice
on how I can get them into some lively
conversations on Christmas Day.
