'The time has come,' the Walrus said,
'To talk of many things:
Of shoes-and ships-and sealing wax-
Of cabbages-and kings-
Ang why the sea is boiling hot-
And whether pigs have wings.'Tweedledee, from Through the Looking-Glass by Lewis Carroll
KidA, I even looked it up for you in my Modern Library first edition published 1936. Purchased in LA in the summer of 1970 when I was hitch hiking (remember when everyone did that, even girls) with a friend from Seattle to San Diego. A State Patrol officer picked us outside Oxsnard (what an odd name) and drove us through LA cause there was a 'disturbance' he wanted us to avoid...
Welcome home Kida, when and where do you get to go next?
