i was a cocktail waitress for a few months and found it pretty lucrative! i've often thought of returning...
i've alot of respect for waitresses/bartenders/entertainers simply 'cos i've been there...my only grudge against the casino drinks is that they seem suspiciously *weak*! of course, i was playing the slots in colorado, i wasn't a high-roller in vegas.
damn girl, you make alot of money, yr making me want to be a college dropout even longer...
i bet tool-booth operators have the best time. i bet they get all high and read good books and their friends buy them beers for letting them cross the bridge for free. they can space-out and look at the sky; the requirements are minimal, so they may enjoy lots of free time and thought.
i'd rather be a toll-booth operator than a mayor, or newscaster, or movie actor, and i'll prally be cocktailing sometime soon! good tips, good conversation, good entertainment...
