I want to thank you so much for putting up your site.
As a native New Yorker now living in Connecticut, I was extremely moved by the photos, many of which I've not seen before.
I remember the many times I've been to the WTC, way-back-when in the mid-1970s and 1980s, a time when the "unthinkable" was just that.
I have so many fond memories of that entire area and it is now that I feel the loss ... and it hurts badly.
I'm happy to know that your Pa made it out alive, but I wouldn't blame him for never stepping into a building again.
It only took one airplane crash for me never to fly again.
I don't even know if I can ever go to the City anymore ... most of my family still live there ... it's just not the same.
A horrible deed from horrible people ... but God sees everything.
Though the Phoenix may rise once again from the ashes of this destruction, the poor souls who perished never will.
