haha.... I'm sure it's a great investment for some. I remmeber during the actual hynosis treatement thinking "damn it, I never really had my final cig".... I think I may have blown it. The therapist was wonderful... I mean to have as just a regular therapist.
But... I bought an abundance of subliminal quitting smoking tapes(some you listen to while you are awake, some while you are asleep) and they really seem to be helping.... at least a little. Don't get me wrong. I stil crave that nasty little stick. I also think mair hit in on the head... how can you expect yourself to suddenly be a non smoker.
Altho... I heard an interesting story. This is getting long and I don't want to annoy you. A friend of mine went in for surgery.... general anasthesia.... and she was a pretty heavy smoker. When she came out... she asked her husband for a cigarette. He played the part well, acted confused... and said "Honey, you don't smoke".... in the meantime he had run hone and thru away all of her ash trays and cigs and whatnot. And she believed him. Wish something like that could happen to me. Talk about quitting one of the most difficult things in the world without even knowing. The surgery went ok. I'm used to em. Might be a success. Might be chronic. I'm told this everytime. It looks good right now... but there is a chance that as soon as it heals up inside, the lumps may return. Just a waiting game.
Good for you on going into a bar and smoking just the hippi herbals. Theirs some strength to be said there chica. Oh, by the way... I think the chico came from the drugs. I was on lortab, no anymore tho, valium, and my own added bonus of soma's. These occasional cigs you are throwing your way, I honestly believe they aren't hurting you..... I mean, think of all you did put into your body before... I think you are doing great.
So.... uh.... personal question here.... did you leave the bar alone? You don't need to answer. A huge part of my personality is my sarcasm.
Thanks for caring chica..... especially since you don't even know me. Take great care if yourself,

> there is a famous old psychology experiment in which they put numerous people, one after one, into a room filled with food, all sorts of delicious sweet things, and told them "you can have anything you want, except the oreos." they filmed the people and sho nuff, they all hovered 'round the plate of oreos not knowing whether to indulge or not. some gave in and just gobbled 'em down. the theory was that if the psychologists had not mentioned the oreos, they wouldn't have been the "forbidden fruit," and the peeps would have just eaten a piece of chocolate cake or whatever else struck their fancy at that particular moment.

> now that you've had the surgery (how did it go?!), is there any way you could have nicorette or the patch? they truly do help. i've smoked real cigs only once or twice in the past 2 and a half weeks thanks to this stuff. it's expensive as hell, but a good investment. i don't feel any better, but i went to a bar last night and realized this morning that my clothes *stink* of cig smoke! (i just smoked a couple of my non-smelly hippie herbals.)
