Lisa - I believe that what you are having is called a prodromal symptoms. It could be that the area of your brain where the seizure is occurring is causing the vision part of the brain to fire spontaneously, causing you to see things that aren't there. I would mention this to your doc. It is not dangerous and you may be able to use the prodromal symptoms to your advantage. They may allow you to lie down or otherwise have your seizure in a safe place (if you have time between seeing the apparition and having the seizure).
