This is the wonderful wonderful world of the nhs for you... ignore me cos I'm feeling very very angry and let down by them at the moment... last year i tried 9 different aanti depressents (mainly ssri's, one try cyclic..) due to the wonderful care of my psychiatrist...

Can't give you an answer other than the NHS are so so short staffed that they have no time to give you any more.

> I think if my math is correct, that you can only take 6 different meds in a year that take 8 weeks to get a full effect. as i have tryed more than four SSRI's and had no effect (so far) how long do the docs expect me to wait. 8 weeks Is a hell of a long time when your depressed- even the next few hours seem like hell waiting to happen. has anyone got mad/set the doctor a timescale to work around/ told the doctor what you want to do next? what were the results? and was it with the NHS?
