As for the U.S. vs. Canada. There are many good things about both countries and all countries. Canada has been judged to be the best country in the world by one of the U.N. agencies the past 3 or 4 years based on various parameters and Vancouver recently has been voted as supposedly the best country in the world by some other agency using whatever parameters they used - issues dealing with overall health of individuals, enviroment and economy, etc....Yet, there are lots of folks who would tell you otherwise and we do have the poorest neighbourhood in our country in our downtown area, along with some great mountain views and a generally nice climate. We all have our unique challenges, ups and downs, and reasons to love and hate our countries, cities, etc...
