Hi Janice,
I think your bad memory might be a little extreme, but it is not unusual. Before meds, I had a nearly photographic memory. An old girlfriend called it "spooky" because I could recall conversations word-for-word weeks later. Now, however, I might as well not even have a memory instead of faking it. :-) I can't remember crap. I go to work without my lunch half the time. I *often* forget why I walked into a room or why I openend a kitchen cupboard. They laugh at me at work because I will walk into the lab and forget why. :-)
You are not alone. I know of no solution which is medically proven to help.
Ted.
> Please tell me the truth, I can hack it. In fact, I'll really appreciate it. Okay, so we all (probably) believe we have lousy memories right? But 2 times this month, I have completely forgotten having conversations with people, and then called one person up 1 1/2 hours later to have the same discussion, and the other person I called the next day to have the same conversation. After being reminded by both of them that I had already talked to them, I did remember one conversation but still don't recall the other one.

I have a strong, strong feeling it is my medications that cause these problems with my memories, but at the same time make me feel great!
