My therapist usually works the first half of New Years Eve and Christmas Eve, but breaks around one or so. Not this year, since it falls on a weekend, but usually.
I've had several Christmas Eve appointments and they've been some of my favorites. He's relaxed, we stick to bonding, and it's really quite nice.
I don't even think we've ever had to openly state the "no can of worms" rule on Christmas eve, though I do before trips.
