It can be scary to see a new pdoc. But it is important to get there. Particularly since you aren't feeling very well these days.
Are you currently on medication? What do you take? When did you see your old pdoc last?
You could call the new pdoc and tell him that you do need to get in to see him. Maybe he could put you in if he has a cancellation.
The next time you have an appointment with him, ask a friend or relative or neighbor to help you. Ask them to call you 1 1/2 hours before your appointment so that you are sure to make it (or they could even go with you - that might even be better).
Do you have a therapist?
If you are feeling badly enough that you are afraid that you might do something that would hurt you, please do go to the nearest emergency room. Babble is great, but we aren't a substitute for real, live help. Do you think that you could to to an emergency room before you did something that might hurt you?
I know that when I'm feeling particularly badly that it helps to have a friend I can call. That person will talk to me and help me decide how dangerous things are. Then, if I need a ride to the hospital, they can give me a ride. Do you have a friend who could do those things for you?
Let us know how you are feeling.
