Dinah,
What a painful memory, my heart goes out to you.
I think I block out portions of memories to protect myself from further pain. Those fuzzy spots are my way of coping with stuff that I want to forget, but can't let go of.
It's like I continue to punish myself with memories of things that happened long ago, but at the same time I want to spare that hurt kid anymore pain.
Time to see my therapist, maybe this is a good session to go back to healing my inner child.
