it is kind of interesting, isn't it, to think about the rates of involuntary incarciration... not in developing nations keeping slaves and all that...

but rates of involutary incarciration in supposedly developed first world nations.

how many people are kept involuntarily detained against their will in conditions of torture in the USA. In Australia. In New Zealand. kept by who? By the government.

Did these people do anything wrong?

In New Zealand likely not. The courts move veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery slooooooooooooooooooooooooooowly becuase they don't sign off on people's law Degrees if they don't agree to move slowly with ineptitude.

So people awaiting trial.

Becuase the government hasn't recieved a bribe sufficient to motivate them to process the applications or whatever.

WE don't know how lucky we are!

Indeed. The great lie that is New Zealand.

The answer is that we are not very lucky at all. I can't imagine many places in teh world that are worse than here. And that's teh truth of it.

The New Zealadn government denied me a Secondary School Education. I was sexually abused by one of my Secondary teachers which scared me away from School, rather. The School intentionally protected her (gave her employment at another school and teh principle was even informed of her history and chose to hire her anyway). It seemed to be a perk or an advantage or feature of her that that was the kind of person that she was. I suppose because... Well maybe because they wouldn't have to pay her so much. She would do the job and be grateful to have a job at all. So... Win-win -- right? ANd as for me... Well I had a roof over my head what more could I ask for in life you ungratteful little bitch.

Right?

And it wasn't just me... Repeatedly, regularly, reliably in the news you hear about teachers sexually abusing their studnets (irrespective of gender) and the courts go 'permission to carry on'. Repeatedly, regularly, reliably.

We don't know how lucky we are!!

And I was supposed to grow up to be her, one can only imagine. I was supposed to become a teacher just like her and get busy abusing the next generation. Because that's how we do.

Only I decided I didn't want to.

Whcih means the mob is surely justified never paying me. Not unless I agree to murder and rape and so on...

THen I can proudly proclaim 'and they pay me!!'

It's a f*ck*d up hellhole of a country.

They really are incapable of assessing people on their merits and investing in anything good.
