I wish they didn't feel they had to go through with this process in public.

Is he the governor of South Carolina?

An irrelevant fact is that John Locke wrote or had an input to the constitutions of the Carolinas, and also argued that the Indians had no right to the land because they 'did not mix their labours with the land'.
