It may have been in Harpers which I read for a few years. I think it was. Harpers had all these odd things. I think the batman may have made some mistake, maybe not putting an object quite in place on the government aircraft, and it may have fallen during takeoff, or something like that. Anyway, Scooter was very gracious, when apologised to. He said something like 'I understand, we won't mention it again. These things just happen.' So the batman was hugely grateful. I should have cut it out.
