Now that I have your attention, you see the problem?
There's nothing to talk about.
Take the Emissions Trading Scheme. It probably sucks. Too little too late. It might inadvertently encourage aluminium (do Americans really spell it 'aluminum'?) smelting if people put solar panels on their roofs. A carbon tax may have been better. But at least it gives the appearance of heading in the right direction.
Or take our stimulus package. It has a really low multiplier effect (0.3?) as against 1.something for the US. Does one approve? Who knows anything? It might be great. Who pays for it, or is that an ignorant question? But still.
There must be other examples. You get the drift.
