The world is such a complicated and often terrible place, and any single person knows next to nothing about it.
I read yesterday something by Arundathi Roy about the Mumbai attack.
I've forgotten it already, but there was nothing familiar in what she wrote.
It was all Indian and Pakistani politics about which I was ignorant.
We need governments that help us form more balanced and informed opinions about the world, especially given our attention span.
