There was a program on TV I mostly missed called "The First Australians" looking at settlement/invasion/occupation from the Aboriginal viewpoint.
I knew some of the story (the later bits) but want to see the first few episodes.

What I saw left me thinking that Hitler and Stalin just exaggerated existing patterns of colonialism and left out the nation building. It was all here, except for Auschwitz and Kolyma.

So I am encouraged by this from Obama
