We've had mechanical ever since my mother first brought me with her when she voted, and they upgraded to electronic a few years ago.
I've never seen a paper ballot in my life.
We were flabbergasted at the idea of chads. If Louisiana has had voting machines with switches since the seventies, you'd think all states would have had at least that much.
