the technology is there already.
methinks the problem is more in the promoting of those cars, and the concern about what will happen to countries where oil is a significant part of their economy...
electricity...
peanut oil...etc.
hybrids etc.
yeah they have a bit less grunt but gee more grunt and a dead planet vs less grunt less deaths on the roads and less irreversible damage to the planet...
what would the impact on the us economy be if other countries stopped buying fossil fuels???
