I think this block was entirely in line with Dr Bob's rules of civility, too. I also think that perhaps Toph knew it might have been coming ("I'm going on vacation anyway" was how he put it).
IMO this block was consistent.
Interestingly enough, I'm learning a lot - perhaps not about what Dr Bob's intentions are, but about civility in general, in reading "Choosing Civility" by P.M.Forni. I'm probably once again late to the table on this, but it's giving me a greater appreciation about how our communications on sites like this affect those who read them. Very interesting reading for me.
