I had exactly the same thought about replacing Americans with "Bush"
I wasn't trying to be holier than thou' (nor do I think anyone was accusing me of it)
All the Americans I know personally are so passionately against what's going on in Iraq that I actually did feel offended for them. It's such a raw subject. I don't think many people would think it was right to start a joke with
"The question on every East Indians Mind Is"
And I do have a problem with double standards as far as prejudice goes.. I mean either it's unfair or it's not. But my initial reaction was the reason I posted.
