Anyone following this case? The Austrailian woman sentenced to 20 years for drug smuggling in Indonesia. She's clearly innocent and 93% of Austrailians believe that she's innocent. On the other hand, over 80% of Indonesians think she's guilty.
I put this in the politics section since the outcry in Austrailia may bring down Howard's government and create a rift with Indonesia.
My real concern is freeing Shapelle Corby from what amounts to a death sentence (life expectancy in an Indonesian jail is 10 years). To that end, I've been writing various ministers (Mr Downer for example) and joining online petitions.
