I remember Books. :) I also seem to recall posters at least as far back as 2001 claiming that Babble was ruined because it wasn't the same place (or the same posters) that they had become attached to. And maybe they were right. But if they were, where does this leave the posters who came to value Babble in 2005? Or 2006? Or today?I used to assume that everyone else knew statements like "everyone is blocked" or, in this thread, "so many are blocked who's left to even post" as just emotional expressions rather than statements of fact. I don't make that assumption any more. And I think the distinction is important, especially on this board.
