I'm still here, too. I think those who aren't blocked and those who've chosen to stay around - even if it's only to post from time to time - make Babble just as alive as anyone.
No certain subset of posters can cause a community to be utterly "dead" or utterly "alive." It - and all types of communities - are's a bit more complex than that.
I see it as just another season. They come and go but the environment lives on...
