Wether or not Dr. Bob has mental issues I dare not say. As someone who places the New York Times quote 'a brilliant and reticent Web mastermind' as his signature, he doesn't hide some narcissistic pride at least, which may or may not be healthy. Does it matter much?
Before I ventured to join this forum, I'd become well aware of Dr. Bob's sometimes rather strict rules. Joining this forum means abiding by the rules or being banned, to put it bluntly. For one thing, I think Dr. Bob is reasonably consistent in his application of the rules, although I don't know about the nitty-gritty details of the bans.
Plus, you gotta give him that he apparently takes the time to monitor the whole damn forum, which is a pretty large job. Or are there different Dr. Bobs? Students getting payed for it and having a laugh over their latest block? Speculation doesn't help us any further.
I think the strict rules of this forum have both advantages and disadvantages, but at least this is not your average forum where half of the threads disintegrate into vulgar slanging-matches.
Current meds: clomipramine 225mg, fluvoxamine (Luvox) 50mg
As needed: bethanechol 25-50mg, oxazepam 5-10mg
