In reply to purpose of admin board..., posted by karen_kay on February 11, 2008, at 14:09:01
I think that's an excellent question...
Above:
"Possible topics might be problems with the site, ideas for improvements, **dealing with particular types of posts**, statistics, the Psycho-Babble Yahoo groups, etc. Part of the idea is to enable the other boards to focus more on support and education."
Okay....I put the emphasis on: **dealing with particular types of posts** because I have seen an adm. warning about NOT posting questions, concerns, comments, etc... in such a way a poster "could" be identified. Well, if a posting behavior is the trait of a few or even one poster, it's pretty easy to identify whos behavior is the subject of the question, concern, comment, etc... no matter how vague, general or diplomatic one can try to be. In fact, I think if certain posts and specific posting behavior is being brought up, it doesn't take a master sleuth to figure out the poster(s), IMO.
I'm thinking given the guideline of using the notification button maybe the "dealing...." as a possiblity as to what could be discussed on this board needs to be removed.
