If I understand the civility guidelines, our "intent" matters less than how we might make someone feel, based on our word choices. Which is kind of why I was asking about using the "one" vs. "you" - I also did not intend to be answering directly to you and your experience, but rather in more global way to many of the posters who have questioned a variety of relationship aspects that can occur during therapy. However, reading it again, I can see how I was not clear because I did, indeed, say "you."

I don't think you were pbc'd -- at least not on that thread, but maybe I missed it. I think I'll just choose to steer clear of these kinds of threads in the future.
