I'm never offended by opinions as such, and wonder if many people are. OTOH people can be seriously hurt in some of those long tangled threads. Perhaps it's when one does not give another the benefit of the doubt, or (I dunno) uses a certain tone, or something else?
Real hurt happens here, but not from opinion.
Does that make any sense?
