Your intent with respect to #1 is reasonable, but what happens is that threads that are primarily medication threads just die on the Alternative board. They collapse. They stop being productive, thought-provoking, interactive....all the good things that we all look for, just cease.

As for #2, apparently a click away is too far for most people, if it involves a different board.
