Usage: Seem,..... to seem is connected with the idea of semblance, and usually implies an inference of our mind as to the probability of a thing's being so; as, a storm seems to be coming. ``The story appears to be true,'' means that the facts, as presented, go to show its truth; ``the story seems to be true,'' means that it has the semblance of being so, and we infer that it is true. `

The words you posted seemed to support my inference that you (as represented by those words) were bitter.

"Difficult or distasteful to accept, admit, or bear: the bitter truth; bitter sorrow.
Proceeding from or exhibiting strong animosity: a bitter struggle; bitter foes.
Resulting from or expressive of severe grief, anguish, or disappointment: cried bitter tears.
Marked by resentment or cynicism"

truthtellers burned alive
liars held aloft
their praises sung ahigh
while the hurt ones are lost

................
appropriate and civil is all that is wanted
too bad most of our minds are all haunted

cobwebs for brains
spiders for eyes
stones for hearts
waiting until we die

If no one is allowed to make any kind of inference about anything in anyone else posts how can anyone respond? (Other than you had 187 words in your post and 3 of them are spelled wrong or something like that ) If I had said your poem is very nice would that have been judgemental? If I had posted you seem very merry would you have been angry about that too? When I said I hope you feel better was it wrong to make a judgement that you needed or wanted to feel better?

Was it the choice of the word bitter? Or was it the phrase? Would your post sounds bitter have been acceptable?

I posted to you because no one else did that night and I thought you were in distress. I was unaware you were drinking.

I thought your reference to monkeys and primates and boards filled with chatter etc were perhaps less kind than one might have wished in these civil realms. I could say I don't care if you don't like me but it would be untrue. It has always been my fondest wish to be adored by all who come in contact with me. However since you said in your previous reply that you had no wish to reply I will expect no further reply.

I'll try not to reply to your posts in the future.
