hi. celexa was OK. zoloft was a nightmare. paxil shut down my emotions, and tapering was loads of trouble.
wellbutrin was OK, except for here and there during dosage increases...then it wasn't so OK. tapering was easy.maybe antidepressants just aren't for you? i read a psychopharmacologist...he wrote that ssri drugs are sort of like one variant of the "goof balls" of yesteryear, the ones that contained a stimulant and a low dose tranquilizer/neuroleptic. the idea is...
flatten emotions a bit (all antidepressants reduce frontal lobe activity) and revv up energy levels. something like that.
maybe surmontil? its sedating, supposed to be good for anxiety and agitation. not a good idea if you're suicidal, of course.
adding buspar helps some people. sorry about all this.
