I think there are a flaws with this research. For example, drugs like mirtazapine and reboxetine are 'understudied'.
According to 'research', mirtazapine is a wonderdrug, but clinically many docs I have spoken to say it is not exceptionally effective long term for depression.
Also, they ranked clomipramine low on the list, which is suprising, since it is seen (by many doctors) to be one of the most effective antidepressants.
They ranked amitriptyline highest (which is likely based on much older research). I would consider it no more effective than clomipramine. Actually, I found clomipramine much better than amitriptyline.
