I've taken Lamictal on three seperate occasions. The longest I took Lamictal was for two years at 200mg, and could hardly read a book in the first few months. I think it lessened over time, but I was still impaired. I'm not sure why I put up with it. I mustn't have been bothered about it at that time. I don't think it's age related becuase I'm only 26. I'm not sure what smart drug I might add. It's probably better to just lower the dose or come off it.
