Benzos are typically given with lithium; i read one poster here who said that she could take smaller amounts of lithium if the benzos were raised. That might be a good thing if the side effects of lithium are bothersome.

Well, this is just speculation, but if your pre-treatment state formed certain aspects of your response to relatioships, the lithium may change you, but perhaps not change you overnight. So there may be some leftover habits and attitudes. But personally, my view is that medications trump these things every time.Squiggles
