Funny you show this. One of these TV ads we have running here is for cymbalta.
Now what p- me off is not so much the AD itself, but how they made it.
For those who never seen it,the commercial does this..........
Starts off with a very accurate description of depression, fast and precise, which catches the users, and users familys attention.
Shows the faces of depression, the family member with the head down at dinner, the worker at her desk in distress etc.
The music, the narration, you begin to believe this is a nuetral commercial reaching out.
Then past midpoint after you are sunk into this commercial ready to call the number they swift by the fact this is a commercial for A SPECIFIC DRUG.
All that, all that crap to push a new drug.
I know the thinking behind this, get the viewer to believe you understand and care, then slap the drug in there face, maybe theyll think this one drug will be different, its the answer above all the past drugs they might have tried.
My mother seeing this called me and i had to tell her that it was just a ad,so hey good just slime, you got your scheme across. Also lunestas commercial is absurd as well.Even people using it with success i can feel confident assuming are not,"smiling there f- heads off as they climb into bed,and they are also not DRIFTING OFF along a butterfly to wonderland"
Even with the drug sleep is a precious thing to achieve.
Then after all this, some doc turns around and tells you that you are expecting too much from drugs.Lol what a time to live in.
