Xanax?

I've seen lots of people here mention Xanax to counteract the anxiety se of some ADs. I'm on Wellbutrin. Does the Xanax make you sleepy during the day? Does it help you sleep at night? I have to take Ambien now to sleep(even before the Wellbutrin) but I was thinking of asking my doc about Xanax to help the jitteriness during the day and evening if it doesn't go away. I don't want to be TOO medicated, though.
