I use to think psychiatrists were magical people who knew how to decode all of your secrets and neatly sort you into the proper disorder categories.
Then I had to receive documentation that I had ADD for my college, and I had to get an evaluation. 8 doctors, total billable hours ranging from $2000-$3000. My neurologist said I'd probably also be found to have GAD during the testing....
