In reply to DRY MOUTH CAUSED BY MEDICATION. . ., posted by DiscoPuppy on June 28, 2002, at 17:26:07
Dry mouth is the entire reason I quit Adderall. I didn't even finish the whole month's worth.
Vitamin C will acidify your system and that will make the ingredients of Adderall be excreted from your system faster.
Water alone will not do it - just make you urinate more and it won't relieve your dry mouth either.
Be careful with the Vit C, too much will give you diarrhea.
> psychostimulants, to be more specific. I have this HORRIBLE problem of dry DRY mouth on Adderall and don't know what to do about it. It's not only dry mouth but this icky, yukkie taste in it too. I drink at 128 ounces of water EVERY day, so it can't be a dehydration issue.
