I've no experience with Desyrel, but 30mg of Remeron was a powerful sedative for me, while 45mg has turned it into a stimulant. I've had to augment it with a tricyclic in order to get more than three hours sleep at night! I'm aware that these chemicals effect different people in very different ways, the variable being the brain chemistry we each start out with, but I've read many posts here from people who, like me, have found the effect of a chemical underwent radical change at a higher or lower dose.
I'm aware many people have replied to your mail with similar experiences. I guess I just wanted to add mine in the hope it could help you.
