In reply to Naltrexone + Wellbutrin SR?, posted by MHK on July 12, 2000, at 17:04:07
Hi Heidi.
Just butting in.
Adding Effexor to the Wellbutrin might be worth considering. A friend of mine responds partially to both. Each used alone improved different symptoms. The combined actions of the two drugs seemed additive and complementary, as each took care of what the other had missed. If you have been partially responsive to any other antidepressant (or stimulant, depending on which symptoms persist), you might want to consider trying to use that drug in combination with Wellbutrin.
I am considering combining Naltrexone with an MAO inhibitor, either Parnate or Nardil, so I will be curious to see how you respond to it should you choose to give it a try.
Good luck.

> As I've mentioned in a previous post, Wellbutrin SR has "pooped out" for me, with the exception of one or two areas where it is still effective. I've just had a trial of Serzone, which doesn't seem to do anything for me besides make me weak and dizzy (and another side effect I won't mention in polite company.)
