Yep, in Texas we have all sorts of critters to get used to.

Plus, I'm a smoker, too (and I know some others here are too, but I won't out them).

Anyhow, we have what we call mud daubers (may not be the correct spelling) that are BIG and BLACK and look quite menacing...however, they don't (in Texas) bite, sting, etc.

I'm wondering if that's what you have? Have you resolved the problem? Maybe one of those zzzzt-zzzzt-zzzzt flying bug killers?

lolol. Hope you can still smoke (yes, I know...it's the scourge of human existence!).
