Yep, it's not peanut M&Ms, but peanut butter M&Ms. They're a little like Reese's Pieces, only better. There's a thicker layer of chocolate around the peanut butter, so you get more wonderful tastes. They are really good.
I don't know how long they've been around. My husband is diabetic, so any time he buys me something sweet, it's a hit or miss proposition. He was looking for regular M&Ms, which the store was out of, so he brought home crunchy M&Ms, which were not very wonderful. He also brought home a list of all the different M&Ms they have out now. The peanut butter sounded good, so he brought some home last night. Good man, I think I'll keep him.
(Gotta keep any man who recognizes the therapeutic importance of M&Ms, right?)
And I'm crossing my fingers that the old T will respond in a helpful way. I wrote it despite my fears that I'll be punished for being "uncooperative" with the fabulous treatment I'm receiving at the hands of such dedicated and caring professionals, but again -- desperation sometimes makes other doors open, right? It's frightening, at any rate.
Oh, yeah, and the antibiotics for the eye infection are causing internal distress, in a big way, so if I wasn't feeling all that well before, you should see me now. Into the bathroom six times a day to ensure that nothing stays in my digestive tract longer than three and a half minutes. And now I get to go to that idiotic group, sit there for an hour and a half, listening to my fabulous therapist facilitate. Oh, so useful, especially when she starts in on Axis II Diagnoses...
Anyway, I'm taking along a new book to read, so at least that's something to look forward to...
