Hi Greg,
I haven't heard anything about it since I was regularly posting and reading posts here, which was a good 2-1/2 years ago or longer. I remember after the accident thinking that I myself was underinsured for liability coverage, and the first chance I had to rectify that, I did. I'm paying for it, of course, but I'd rather have too much insurance than not enough.
Of course, I don't recall or never knew many of the details of that night, so as to the driver's culpability I don't know or remember. Usually, the driver is at fault when someone is in a crosswalk, so it doesn't make sense that he wasn't charged with something. We have probably a similar crosswalk on Busch Blvd. that pedestrians use to and from Busch Gardens. During the weekends I often see people crossing without activating or waiting for the green light to cross. Because of that, I slow down when I come to this crosswalk. However, at night it would be difficult to see a pedestrian if the area wasn't well lit and/or if the crosswalk wasn't working or wasn't being used. In any event, it was a tragic accident, but hopefully something good will come of it.
It's good to see you again too, Greg. Hope all is well. Since you have Cam's ear, please let him know that we wish him and his family the best in all this.

But when I think about the unimagineable travesty that the man that took Suzanne's life has not, and will not pay any price for what he did because of the way our laws are written, it saddens and embarrasses me. Cam and his wife are two of the finest people I've ever met, and they deserve better than this. I hope in some way that they, and Suzanne, get the justice they deserve.
