health funding

i watched this video of the leader of the opposition having a meeting with executive people representing midwives and home care workers and gp's and hospital doctors etc etc...

and i just think about how much money they earn. how they all were working from home over that period (except possibly potentially for home care workers person who likely visited sites they got the contract for to help with airport screenings and community screenings and possibly potentially midwife peron).

how much money they earn.

how much money they earn.

how their job is to represent the interests of their workers.

how much money they earn.

how they sit there with their fancy suits and how much money they earn.

and how much they lie.

people stopped going to gp's. they stopped going.

there wasn't a mad rush. gp's were not front line workers.

people stopped going to gp's.

gp's did this massive panic that they didn't have enough ppe (who is in charge of ordering that from the DHBs) and then the gp's did mainly online consultations. they threw their receptionist and nursing staff out in front of them to do the patient contact and they largely weren't needed.

some of them hoarded vaccines. some others say they didn't have enough. does the phone not work for them? was there really no way that they could have driven their car to where the vaccines were and picked them up as part of essential business?

interestingly... people stopped having accidents.

people in hospital was down, like 40 or 50 per cent.

apparently a lot of elective surgeries were cancelled. the keyhole orthopedic ones, particularly, that don't have outcomes much better than placebo. operating theatre space opened up.

the government seems to want us to believe that we were able to get through a number of the backlog of cancer surgeries. but i'm not seeing stats or anything on that. so i don't know if it's true or not.

but the representative wasn't like 'yeah, we really did not have very many patients'. and tell us what they did, instead.

instead they just cry about how busy they were. how overworked. underpaid. undervalued.

neither of them were willing to say: we were about as useful as t*ts on a bull in that situation. we got a much needed breather from our business as usual.

they just keep crying 'poor us poor us poor us there isn't enough money'.

which makes it really hard to trust them / take them seriously.

i felt bad for the gp guy. nz... at it again. could they have found a person less capable to do that job? i find that hard to imagine...

i am sick of watching the news.

watching what everyone else says... what everyone else says... what everyone else says...

while bits of my thesis pop up everywhere...

by copying or by independent discovery.

it doesn't f*ck*ng matter.

where's my degree? for the thesis i write back in teh end of f*ck*ng 2018?

where's my degree?

where's my place in medical school?

what's the f*ck*ng problem?

it's really not supposed to be that hard.

all you people... all the money. have some more money. what? you need more money. more money for you more money for you more money for you. awwwwwwwwwwww you feel undervalued and underappreciated. awwwwwwwwwww more money for you.

where's my degree?

oh please, have some more money. have more money. all the money for you.
all the money for you. all the degrees and jobs and all the money for you.

f*ck*ng stupid idiots.

morally blind.

f*ck*ng idiots.

because i need to remember that's how they think.

so to communiate when them effectively in a language they understand i need to get these silly ideas of the welfare of studnets and patients and the like well out of my head.

money?

money!

where's the money!

?

i love my money.

my money

all the money

all of money.

hiding away in my hiding hole grubbity grub grub grubbing up all the money!

what a wonderful job for me!

and everything else that they say is just a cry for more money. they want more money. more money to make sure they have more money and their workers don't get paid. more money to make the people around them sicker and sicker and sicker and sicker more money to invest in slummier slums that make their tenants sicker and sicker so they get a higher return on their hospital shares....

it's important not to get side-tracked by other things that they say.

because it's all in their interests of the mighty dollar.

how do you know?

why, look at how they share.

wheres' my degree?

?

?

it's a one year degree.

i wrote the thesis. there you go. it's done. the examiners said i could make (needed to make) substantive changes to it. to their satisfaction.

i made changes. and the dean f*ck*ng well refused to give it to them.

she refused to allow the examiners to do their job and examine it.

you know why overseas does not respect nz degrees? because nobody overseas cares what our esteemed mighty leaders have to say about whether a thesis is good enough or not. because our esteemed mighty leaders are not making objective and independent judgements. they are deciding which of their kids / students shall be forced to stay with them and look after them (while paying the university) for... 3 years... 4 years... 10 years.

they don't sign their students off.

they don't allow independent / individual work to be done.

mostly they advertise the research projects that are available (to be written for the student) by way of providing the student with an abstract of the thesis the supervisor is going to write fro the student. maybe that's becuase that's the work that the supervisor has got the 10 + year studnet writing for them (so the supervisor can give that to someone else).

it's a f*ck*ng farce.

it's not repsected because there's no genuine productivity there.

it's stifling and oppressive and the chieftan mighty leader... is a joke. actually. isn't giving conferences or whatever overseas... doesn't have peers coming here from overseas to help lpreven in-breeding of ideas and the like.

it's just a f*ck*ng joke.

where is my f*ck*ng degree?

ohhhhhhhhhh i'm too intellectually retarded to have completed a 1 year masters degree from the university of waikato!

all of a sudden i got dropped on my head and my writing hand doesn't work anymore!

f*ck*ng idiots.

where's my f*ck*ng degree?

there's an article in the nz medical journal that says something about the medical grads (picked from high school) and how such a small number of the m really do PhD's out the end of their medical degree.

they take 3 years... 4 years... 10 years... to do the PhD.

they get an average (or maybe median) of 3 publications.

that will be, like, 3rd or 4th author on a publication?

this was a survey of CURRENT studnets (not completed students).

they said they wouldnt' have got as high (or likely as nice) response to the survey if they had only surveyed students who had completed one way or the other.

nobody cares.

the rest of the world has moved on to MD.

nobody cares.

the little in-bred students don't do any learning other than the medical degree and medical honors at which point they are given a medical PhD.

they don't study the arts (maybe there is one elective in the whole degree for a 'it's morally wrong to give a cervical smear to a peson who has been sedated for an unrelated procedure and has not given consent'. but no, not even that. they just do as they are told...

bide their time...

until it's there turn to be head tribal chieftan grubbing up all the money and taking charge of the next generation.

they just don't have this conception of work-flow. of having a cohort through. they grabby grab grab onto their research students and there you go.

i f*ck*ng hate this f*ck*ng joke of a country.

where's my degree?

where's my place in medicine?

nz doesn't want me. doesn't want to listen to me. doesn't want me to have speaking rights.

fine.

sure.

i get it.

how many years am i expected to shut the hell up and listen you you on and on and on and on and on... how mnay years do i listen to you....

while you fail me for having my own opinion....

sign me off. give me the f*ck*ng pieces of paper. then let me go then.

if you don't want me give me the pieces of paper and let me go.

stabby stab stab in teh sleep?

what's the f*ck*ng language story, here.

where' is my f*ck*ng degree?

you f*ck*ng idiot mean psychopathic stupid f*ck*ng idiots.

you don't want to do research. its too hard. i get it. but yo ushould have all the research jobs and all the research money. yes you shold. to make sure none of it is done on your watch.

we have such few medical gradute PhD students. we have 2 journals. we have the NZ Medical Journal. We have the NZ Medical Students Journal. our medical graduates who have an average of 3 publications in 3 or 4 or 10 years work... couldn't get publications in the 2 NZ medical journals that we have.

no. there's no room left. where else is the professor of the philosophy department supposed to publish his work.?

the Journals aren't for people to show their research.

The Journals are for the grubby people with the money to prevent research from being done.

They take the ideas and head them off.

So people from overseas read the journal and cross NZ off the bucket list. There's nothing here. Nooone here. Nothing to see. No work being done.

Go away. Leave the tribal chieftans to their slaves.

Good job!!!
