I believe this topic has been discussed before but...
Really, does anyone?
I never, ever in all my life have. Whether it was a nap or a megasleep, I have never. And it did not matter if life for me was peachy or rotten 'maters.

Naps, sometimes.
Mornings, never. I've been dragged awake since birth.

I have found that reading helps. Not to feel refreshed, but at least to function.

A nice nap with a good dose of opium and I might, but other than that, never, especially in the mornings.
I'm in a complete haze and could just stare at the wall for hours.
Heaps of tea, but it just doesn't do it.

Once in a blue moon I wake up and feel like getting out of bed right away. Usually I have to lay in bed for a good 30 mins before I feel remotely like getting up. I can't always do this so I do the morning routine with my eyes half closed.

i wake up blurry eyed and the only thing that motivates me to move is to haul the computer over so i can check babble :-(
terrible. thats just terrible.
depression tends to be worse in the mornings.
i have morning ruminations...
can lie there for a couple hours...
just running through running through running through crappy memories and crying and stuff.
i try and short circuit it by checking babble.but really... i should get my *ss into the shower as soon as i wake up. but i'm kinda... paralysed. i hate waking up. i wish i could sleep forever (ie not wake up).
dysthymia i guess.
i was reading about... one theory is that... people with dysthymia lack reciprocity :-(
crappy crap crap
thats enough to bring on depression.

Me too-- or soooooo tired. In the morning, can barely move, stand up, drag myself around.
It's 2:30 and I'm still semi-conscious. Should get a nap, but there I'm tense.
Also extenuating circumstances, but Ive got to try, at least. Don't have much time.
