I hate this...

Posted by lostsailor on May 25, 2003, at 22:43:23

I have so much to say but no-one to listen...
I really sucks, at the risk of a PBC..,.
emotions all over my face, tears on my keyboard...is that covered by warranties/???...

I have so many that would love me to call and chat, yet i have too much explaining to do before I could "cry on their shoulders”
and don't even feel that it's fair after playing hide and go seek for so long...
some are p'oed, some just "lost" as to I now whom i am...

fristrated, frustrated even
6 poems in process today--i "fancy my-self a poet"
bonus to
those who know the ""..
i am stuck in a rut i have dug all alone,
but with friends that have beseeched themselves to help..

but
I hide non the less
oh, what a mess
I have made...
a good "bounty' commercial????...

Tony,

If you are the one and the same over in PB Open (with a link to the philzone and deadnet) let me give you an opening as to how I could listen. An old bumper sticker on one of my cars many, many years back:

And on the eighth day God created Phil

Did that at least give you a smile?

You're listed in the PB Open just as I am. It's just a matter of turning yours on and waiting to see who contacts you. Sorry but I wasn't clever enough to use a name from a fav. song but you'll see soon enough who I am.

~Alii

Only if you need/want to chat. I can go to Open or just YM. Lemme know T.

I find that I can't go to my friends sometimes. I'm afraid they are too busy, or that I might upset them too much. But I know that they care.

The last time I felt that way was the time that I found Psychological-Babble. I posted something there, got some responses and went on to talking in a support group (groups are easier for me because if someone doesn't want to respond they don't feel pressured to). The group included some of the friends that I couldn't go to. They basically yelled at me for not going to see them, and they were really sweet.

So in my case, my friends really are there for me, it was I who was not willing (or able) to reach out. Once I could talk to them everything was better. Sharing a problem makes it so much lighter.

Can you choose one? One to talk to? You may need to explain a lot, but probably less than you think. They won't mind because they want to know what is going on with you. Even send an email - sometimes typing is easier than speaking, and not seeing a reaction is really helpful. They won't be mad that you stayed away - they will be glad that you called. I'm sure that will be true.

Being alone is too ... lonely.

lostsailor,

You certainly shared some kindness and humour tonight. Thank you for that. I hope you are resting well and feeling better when you awaken in the morning.

Night.

I had a nice chat, too. I am sorry but when I got up to get a bite to eat, I must have kicked out the phone coard (remember I am only 56k=:))

when I sat back down with my crackers the net was off, and I figured that was a good time to fall of my chair and into my bed.

I slept without meds to eat. Now that, my friend, was a real treat

In peace,
~tony

Sleep without meds sounds delightful Tony. Glad you got that. Nice to hear.
